CCNSG Leading a Team Safely

DURATION: 1-DAY PRICE: £132 + VAT

The CCNSG “Leading a Team Safely” one day course is designed to build on the health, safety, welfare and environmental awareness already gained from the delegates/renewal courses and increase the delegate’s knowledge in order to effectively carry out a Supervisory/Team Leader role efficiently, effectively and safely. Please note that delegates MUST have an in date CCNSG passport prior to course attendance. Upon successful completion delegates will receive an ECITB Leading a Team Safely Certificate which is valid for 2 years. We are pleased to be able to offer this next level up of training for those that have already obtained their Safety Passport certification.

AIM:

This is a one-day CCNSG LATS course that focuses on how to lead a small team safely, communication skills and achieving safe outcomes. Individual topics will include leadership, planning and Health and Safety Management systems. The course is assessed via a multiple-choice examination at the end of the day’s training. Successful candidates will receive an updated credit card sized Supervisor CCNSG safety Passport.

Participants will learn about:

  • How to communicate successfully
  • How to plan and lead a team
  • How to achieve safe outcomes
  • Self-management and development, including time management
  • How to work safely with others
  • Job safety/task analysis
  • Toolbox Talks
At the end of the course, there will be a short, final assessment paper to be completed.
