Our First Aid at Work course is a 3-day, ITC First Certified course. During the 3, days you will learn practical first aid skills that you can then utilise confidently in the workplace during medical emergencies.
What To Expect:
You don't need any prior knowledge to take this first aid course, your first aid trainer will walk you through each topic and practical skill. To pass, by the end of the 3-day course you and your colleagues should meet the required standard according to the First Aid Regulations as stated and described by the Health and Safety Executive.

What happens if I do not successfully complete the course?

How long is the accredited First Aid at Work course?
The first aid at work course is 3-day course that usually starts at 9 am and finishes at 4:30 pm
Does the training have to be undertaken on 3 consecutive days?
No, the training can be undertaken on separate days, though the full course content must be undertaken within 9 weeks of commencement (including the commencement date). However, we do encore people to undertake the course on 3 consecutive days to make for easier learning.
How long will my accreditation last?
Your first aid at work accreditation lasts for three years and will then need to be renewed through a first aid requalification course.
Can you fail a First Aid at Work course?
Yes, but don’t worry it’s very unlikely. It’s very rare that people fail the training, our expert trainers recognise when someone may be having difficulty and provide additional support to ensure, wherever possible, that delegates leave with the skills, ability and confidence to meet the accreditation requirements.
Will I have my own manikin during the first aid training?
Yes, every individual attending one of our courses will have sole use of a manikin for the duration of their training.
Will there be an exam at the end of the course?
No all of our First Aid at Work training courses are 100% assessed throughout the training provision and there is no test or examination.
What happens if I do not successfully complete the course?
If you are unable to successfully complete their training either through absence or being unable to meet the assessment criteria, our trainers will provide additional support to coach and assist individuals to achieve the desired standards, though this may incur additional costs.
When will I receive my accreditation/certification?
Your qualification is valid from the moment you complete the course and are signed off by the trainer. Certification is sent from the awarding body and normally arrives 2-3 weeks following completion of the course.

Our First Aid at Work course is a 3-day, ITC First Certified course. During the 3, days you will learn practical first aid skills that you can then utilise confidently in the workplace during medical emergencies.
What To Expect:
You don't need any prior knowledge to take this first aid course, your first aid trainer will walk you through each topic and practical skill. To pass, by the end of the 3-day course you and your colleagues should meet the required standard according to the First Aid Regulations as stated and described by the Health and Safety Executive.

- Asphyxia, hypoxia and cardiac arrest
