It is just over 3 months to go until National Manufacturing Day on 26 September 2024 and we’ve had a fantastic amount of interest from both schools and manufacturers to join us at WYMS for West Yorkshire’s largest National Manufacturing Day event!
We currently have 17 schools and colleges registered to join us on the day to learn about how dynamic, creative and innovative modern-day manufacturing is. During the day pupils will have the opportunity to ‘Meet the Manufacturers’ and the young people working in the sector, see the products they make and the variety of roles and careers available locally. The day will be filled with hands-on, interactive activities and pupils will have the chance to speak to apprentices.
