National Manufacturing Day Showcase at WYMS

Welcome to the National Manufacturing Day Showcase at West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services! Supported by our headline sponsor Eastwood Insurance Brokers we will be joined by our partners Make UK, University of Huddersfield, Calderdale College and a wide variety of manufacturers from across the region to showcase modern manufacturing and the amazing career opportunities & apprenticeships available across West Yorkshire.

Join us for this FREE event aimed specifically at promoting the diverse range of opportunities within modern manufacturing. There will be the opportunity to 'Meet the Manufacturer' and the young people working within the sector, see the products they make and the variety of roles and careers available locally.

The event will be filled with hands-on, interactive activities and displays, highlighting the opportunities within this dynamic, creative and innovative sector. Visitors will have the chance to see demonstrations in Calderdale College's apprenticeship workshop, race cars along the F1 in Schools track, try your luck on the Yorkshire Space Hub flight simulator, experience virtual reality, talk to current apprentices and so much more.
