CCNSG Safety Passport National




The CCNSG Safety Passport National course is a two-day training course in basic site safety. On completion, successful candidates receive a CCNSG Safety Passport. This is the engineering construction industry safety card, which is valid for three years.


Participants will learn about:

  • Safe behaviours at work, including consequences of good and bad safety practices and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Risk assessments, including fire safety, hazardous substances and asbestos
  • Hierarchy of control
  • Manual handling
  • Provision and use of work equipment regulations
  • Hard Arm Vibration Syndrome
  • Working in confined spaces and working at height
  • Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulations
  • Site transport
  • Signage
  • Excavations
  • Electric/isolation
  • Environment, including noise
  • Reporting of injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences.

At the end of the course, there will be a short, final assessment paper to be completed.

The CCNSG “Leading a Team Safely” one day course is designed to build on the health, safety, welfare and environmental awareness already gained from the delegates/renewal courses and increase the delegate’s knowledge in order to effectively carry out a Supervisory/Team Leader role efficiently, effectively and safely. Please note that delegates MUST have an in date CCNSG passport prior to course attendance.
