Our Emergency First Aid at work course is a 1-day, ITC First Certified course. This course will equip you and your colleagues with practical first aid skills that will be crucial in medical emergencies in the workplace.

Important Information
You do not need any first aid or medical knowledge prior to taking the Emergency First Aid at Work course. The day will be a mixture of both theory and practical learnings.
To pass, by the end of the 1-day course you should meet the required standard according to the First Aid Regulations as stated and described by the Health and Safety Executive.
Course Content
What you will learn on the Emergency First Aid at Work Course:
- Dealing with collapse with or without breathing.
- Recovery Position.
- CPR and the use of defibrillators (AEDs).
- Choking.
- Management of seizures.
- Bleeding and shock.
- Minor workplace incidents.
- Burns.
- Roles and responsibilities.
- Incident reporting.
- First aid kit contents.
Assessment
All participants will be informally assessed on their practical knowledge in:
- Practical aid of an unconscious patient.
- Practical control of a haemorrhage.
- Practical C.P.R.
