(Schools) National Manufacturing Day Showcase 2025

For the third year in a row, at West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services we are opening our doors to local schools and hosting a National Manufacturing Day Showcase: so your students can meet manufacturers from the local area, take part in exciting demonstrations, and learn all about the exciting career opportunities that modern manufacturing has to offer.

National Manufacturing Day is a day of celebration of the manufacturing industry, spearheaded by trade body Make UK, who are encouraging manufacturers to open their own doors and invite students and teachers to explore opportunities with them.

At WYMS we thought: Why stop there? And decided to invite manufacturers to exhibit to the students at our facility, so that they can see the wider variety of exciting career paths that there are in Manufacturing and Engineering.

Morning Cohort: 9AM - 12PM

Afternoon Cohort: 12:30PM - 3:30PM
