Alastair Morris

Alastair Morris is the Managing Director of Accu, a Huddersfield-based specialist in precision engineering components. An engineering graduate of Cambridge and Cranfield Universities, Alastair spent a decade in the automative industry before moving into the SME sector to focus on business growth and organisational change.

Under his leadership, Accu has achieved significant scale and recognition, earning the King’s Award for Enterprise and the Made in Yorkshire Award for Exporter of the Year. The company now serves over 100,000 engineers in 160 countries, including 70% of the world’s top manufacturing firms, as it works toward becoming the world’s most loved shopping destination for engineers and innovators.

Alastair is a passionate advocate for UK manufacturing and the next generation of engineers. He holds several advisory positions, including the Business Board of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, the regional advisory board of Make UK, the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire and the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.
