Can you briefly describe your career journey prior to joining WYMS?

After graduating from university, I spent almost eight years working in recruitment, supporting manufacturing and engineering businesses across West and North Yorkshire. During that time, I worked closely with companies to deliver both permanent and temporary recruitment, which gave me a strong understanding of the sector and the challenges businesses face.

What do you enjoy most about your role or working at WYMS?

The variety. No two days are the same - one day I might be visiting a business making engineered metal components, the next it could be chemical manufacturing or ride-on buggies, with everything in between. The diversity of products manufactured across the region is incredible.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Football - whether I’m watching or playing, I’m happy either way.
