Building on a drive to bridge the manufacturing skills gap, West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services (WYMS) launched the Young Manufacturers' Network in January 2026. The network is designed to connect, develop, and inspire the next generation of engineering and manufacturing professionals in the region.

There is currently no set agenda for this event. Previous YMN events have covered:
- Round-Table Discussions around the challenges manufacturing faces today, and our role in future-proofing the industry
- Halston B2B's introduction to networking and personal branding, followed by speed networking
- A site tour of Electra Commercial Vehicles, to demonstrate innovation in electric vehicle manufacturing, taking place right on our doorstep.
