This course is for those who already have their MHFAiders certificate and are due a renewal, or simply want to refresh their knowledge and skills and extend their certification by an additional 3 years.

Benefits of taking the refresher course:
Once your Mental Health First Aiders have completed their MHFA Refresher course, they will be certified for a further 3 years and will be invited to become or stay a member of the Association of Mental Health First Aiders – making sure they have everything they need to feel confident when supporting others.
Continuing to invest in the MHFA courses will keep your MHFAiders motivated, empowered, and confident to carry out their roles, and give you the peace of mind that they can perform their duties effectively.
Course Content
The four-hour MHFA Refresher course will support your Mental Health First Aiders by:
- Renewing their skills.
- Updating their knowledge of mental health support.
- Giving them the chance to practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan.
