CNC Milling: Basic G-Code Programming
This course is perfect for those with experience in a workshop environment, and experience as a CNC Machine operator.
The half-day course takes place in collaboration with Colchester Machine Tool Solutions and combines theoretical learning and hands on instruction at the machine, and has been developed and delivered by an experienced shopfloor worker and qualified trainer with 40+ years of experience in CNC and manual milling and turning.
This Course Covers:
- Fanuc A & B
- G codes
- M codes
- Building up the start of a programme
- Safe tool change position
- Inserting the speed and feed for the operation required
- Rapid to the cutting point with tool length offset active
- Controlled face machining
- Controlled profile machining (climb milling)
- Machining radii clock-wise and counter clock-wise
- Canned cycle for drilling and tapping
- Moving to tool change position and cancelling the tool length offset
- Programme end
Courses are priced per person per module, and all half day modules are available on a pick and mix basis to suit your company's needs. Dates are flexible and can be arranged upon booking.
