CNC Turning: Intermediate G-Code programming
This course is perfect for those with experience in a workshop environment, and experience as a CNC Machine operator.
The half-day course takes place in collaboration with Colchester Machine Tool Solutions and combines theoretical learning and hands on instruction at the machine, and has been developed and delivered by an experienced shopfloor worker and qualified trainer with 40+ years of experience in CNC and manual milling and turning.

- Where to use tool nose radius compensation
- Tool nose radius compensation right and left
- Rules applying and cancelling compensation
- Tool position and method of applying compensation
- Storing tool nose radius data
- Virtual tool quadrant data
- Where to use a sub programme
- Sub-programme call and end
- Sub-programme call ‘x’ number of times
- Sub-programme nesting
- Internal and external screw cutting
Courses are priced per person per module, and all half day modules are available on a pick and mix basis to suit your company's needs. Dates are flexible and can be arranged upon booking.
